Kitschorama - Jet-Set Library Music From the 1960's-70's

From the music libraries of Chappell, Atmosphere, & KPM comes this compilation of songs guaranteed to please. Lots of Italian artists on this one....Piero Piccioni, Piero Umiliani, Armando Trovaioli, Gianna Garchetti, Tony Crombie, just to name a few. The "Steve Martin" on tracks 32 & 36 is NOT the comedian. So don't bother asking! TRACK LISTINGS - SAMPLES: Download entire album here: Megaupload Link NOTE: This album was posted on December 6th, NOT November 16.

Speaking of Italian artists, I was just wondering, did anyone see "Mafioso" on TCM this morning.
http://media.collegepublisher.com/media/paper1075/stills/sl93x22w.jpg What an awesome movie. I actually enjoyed it more than that other Alberto Sordi movie ("Smoke Over London") which I posted the soundtrack from a few months ago. Again, the music for this film was done by Piero Piccioni. Unfortunately, there's no soundtrack available, otherwise I'd buy it. Another flick recently on TCM was "Blow-Up" (soundtrack by Herbie Hancock).

I DO have that soundtrack. I may post it here in the future. Turner Classic Movies Rocks!

Glad you like. Just out of curiousity, have any of you bloggers out there noticed discrepancies in the dates when you post on your own blog? I posted this album on December 6, and yet it says November 16th. Weirder still, some sites (like Rangeraver's Departure Lounge) have 2010 posted. WTF?!

If you wish you can change the posting dates in blogger so that by putting 2010 the post will always stay at the top :)

Hey Reza, (or anyone else who seems to be defying time and space), how the hell are you doing this?....posting dates like August 2012! Not that I'd even WANT to do it. But I'm just curious how it's done.

I'm enjoying this very much, many thanks. I'm especially impressed with Goofy A Go-Go by Cunningham & Lang. What do you know about them and the track? I'm keen to purchase some stuff of theirs. Also, I swear I've heard this song somewhere before, but more modern, either on TV or in my music collection. Can you put me out of my pain?

Vogun,
The only Eric Cunningham and Chris Lang music I have is their "Kitschy" sounding stuff. It's actually new music (the same is true with Steve Martin). They record for Firstcom and Killer Trax. If you want to know where to find their music please email me. I'll hook you up.

Listening to it..I loved Arman do Sciascia's "The Hand Thing", very familiar, and VERY MUCH ;like the Munsters theme. I wonder if this Francesco Anselmo guy is related to Tony Anselmo, the current voice of Donald Duck. Steve Martin, and [on Baikinangbe';s site] Barry White [from another "rip"]..famous names..of stock composers..and of REAL famous people [comic and actor for Steve Martin and soul-orchestral for "Barry White"]..
